What is Font App? It is an App that helps to beautify the font of your Blackberry device.
While surfing the net in search of Font App to beautify the font of my phone in the Blackberry store, i actually came across various Font App. But majority of them are for sale, while some allow a free trial for a period of time.
But with this tutorial, you will learn how to get your favourite font and install it without any payment.
The one am going to make use in this tutorial is from www.dafont.com and you can also try www.fontzone.net
Download any font from www.dafont.com.
The downloaded font should come as .ttf file extension. Kindly rename the extension to .font extension.
For example, "google.ttf" should be renamed to "google.font".
After renaming the file, Go to your device memory Storage folder (Device ) using your blackberry File manager
Make sure you click on the show hidden option on your blackberry to reveal hidden folders.
Navigate to the directory ..../Device Memory/appdata/rim/fonts
Paste the downloaded font Here after renaming, in the font folder.
You can now reboot or restart your Blackberry Device and navigate to options to select the font you've already installed.
With this simple tutorial, you will be able to install any font you download from the internet to your Blackberry device.
