This is to inform candidates that sat for The Polytechnic Ibadan 2014/2015 post UTME/CBT exam that the the result has been released.



Candidates can now check for their result by foowing the procedures below:

==> Then login with your username and Password that appears on your payment receipt.

==> You will see what you score under Cbt score

NOTE: The username and password you use to login during the cbt exam is different from the one you will use to check your result. Check your payment receipt for the real one

==> To Know your Admission Score, Divide your Jamb score by 8.
Also, divide your Post-utme by 2
then sum it up...
Or probably wait for them to update it themselve on their site.

Globacom yesterday launched the first mobile money super agent network called Glo Xchange. The Glo Xchange platform was officially launched in partnership with three licensed mobile money operators, FirstMonie, Ecobank and Stanbic IBTC in Lagos, western Nigeria.

CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele personally signed on the launch and described the mobile moneyinnovation as the beginning of a deeper collaboration between the financial sector and the telecommunications industry.

According to the Globacom’s Head of Corporate Sales, Mr. Kamal Shonibare, Glo Xchange will avail the mobile money sector of the much needed agent network across the entire country, as well as the technology platform required for seamless mobile money transactions.

The Glo Xchange will provide the partner banks on the project with the telecom company’s extensive network of 150 Glo World & Glo Zone shops, over 35,000 Glo Dealer and sub-dealer outlets and over 400 Conoil filling stations across the country. This will also leverage on the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) with their over 7,000 outlets.

The partnering banks and Globacom will collaborate to ensure that mobile money reaches the critical mass of the people across the country, leveraging on the parties’ extensive retail market experience and customer-base to build an unprecedented mobile money distribution chain across Nigeria. This will reduce the physical movement of cash during business transactions in the economy.

The Glo Xchange offers a robust platform to provide mobile money service to both banked and unbanked Nigerians, enabling existing and potential customers of partner banks to carry out transactions under the three key areas of banking transactions – deposits, withdrawals and transfers.

Based on the agreement with the partner banks, Globacom will recruit mobile money agents, train them and also provide management services for the partner banks, making available its network infrastructure to support mobile financial transactions. Glo will also provide a dedicated helpline for customers to make inquiries about mobile money services.

The partnering banks will provide their mobile money platforms to Globacom’s mobile subscribers in compliance with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s policy on mobile money. They will also provide specialised trading platform and merchandising materials to the recruited agents while managing customer accounts and support services.

Glo launches Jolof, offers N25, N50 recharge options

Glo Jolof, a product that offers subscribers the lowest recharge option in the country at N25 with three minutes of call time and three sms, has been launched by Globacom to lower the bar for Nigerian telecommunication subscribers to make calls at pocket friendly rates.

Two of the three minutes are for calls within the Globacom network while the third is available for the subscriber to call any other network. All the three sms are on net.

Also introduced under the Glo Jolof package is the N50 recharge string, which gives the subscriber 6 minutes of call time and 6 SMS, thus giving telecommunication subscribers more value for money.

Out of the six minutes of call time, four are for calls within the network while two are for calls to other networks. The six short messaging services (sms) are for on net utilization. The tantalizing benefit is valid until midnight of the same day of recharge.

4 Killer Tips to Build Quality Backlinks through Blog Commenting

I don't need to explain much about Backlinks as we already know it helps to increase our Blog Seo(search engine optimization) rank and equally brings traffic to our blog.
Commenting on blogs has always been used as a way of building backlinks. It can be really effective as long as you are doing it correctly. This article is strictly talking about whitehatseo, I’m not talking about spamming every blog you find or paying for automated comment.

So how can we effectively use Blog Commenting to Build Quality Backlinks to our sites?

1. Subscribe to Newsletter of Blogs related to your Niche
   The best way to get high quality links from other peoples blogs, is simply to read their blog post and drop a reasonable comment. I have hundreds of different blogs of thesame niche(Technology) i have subscribe to, subscribing to the newsletter of the blog means I don’t have to visit the blog to check for new content, I’m notified when a new article is posted, i will read it, write a meaningful comment and usually get a backlink the same day of the post. Just make sure you are dropping comments on Blogs related to your Niches, because it will help to increase your seo rank faster than comments on non-related Niche.
2. Read and Drop reasonable Comment.(getting your comment approved)
   There isn’t any point in wasting your time writing a comment if it’s never going to get approved. Blogs with auto approve comments get spammed to death, we don’t want to be commenting on blogs which have spammy comments approved, we want to be using blog commenting to build backlinks which are going to benefit our site, not harm it.
   The key to getting your comments approved, is to write a decent comment. Spend a couple minutes reading the post and create a discussion. I try to end my comment with a question and usually the author will approve the comment so as to reply to it.
   I tend to address the author by name, e.g “Great article Kingsley”. again this will help to get the comment approved and look genuine.
   

   Use a real name in the “Name” field of the comment form, so that your comment won't be mistook as spam comment. But, there are some Blogs that allows you to input your "Keyword" in the "Name" field. So, use your brain.

   If you are commenting on a blogger blog, make use of "Name/url" in the comment option.
3. Commenting on Competitors Blog(keyword ranking)
   I also discovered that backlinks created on competitors blog help to increase Seo and Keyword rank.
   In my previous point, i made mention of Related niche. but, mind you, not all blogs on thesame niche with yours are your competitors.
   Are you wondering of how to know your competitors? Very simple.
   Goto Google.com and search for your keyword. E.g "Android tips and features". The sites that come up as search result most especially the top ten are your competitors.
   So, do the needful.
4. Monitor your Backlinks
   After following above procedures, we have to keep checking the number of quality backlinks we have gotten so far. And this can be done with online backlink checking site such as:

   www.ahrefs.com
   www.monitorbacklinks.com
   www.smallseotools.com
   
   And if you like to receive alert in your email whenever you get a new backlink, i recommend:

Microsoft launched Windows 8 in order to make the Windows 7 a new companion and an upgrade for the users. The company made very significant changes and features in the operating system which made it to overcome the problems and gave a boost in the using experience of the operating system. Though the new operating system was cool to use as it was new and good at using and working, it still had some lacking and problems. Efforts were made to overcome and solve the problems in the update of Windows 8 which is Windows 8.1.



There are some leaked news and images which are prevalent in the internet nowadays about the new operating system of the company which is named Windows 9. The leaked news and images have showcased, how the new operating system will look and appear to the people. The company has removed the charms bar of Windows 8 as it was the biggest problem faced by the users while using them.

There are some similarities between the new and previous operating system which is the existence of virtual desktop and metro-style additions which will remind you of Windows 8. The makers and designers of the operating system have laid their emphasis on creating the best for the desktop and laptop users. Microsoft is set to remove the stains and negative impacts made by the past operating system and create a new, positive mark on the minds of its users. Windows 9 is expected to come out in the market in April 2015 after two years of the release of Windows 8. There is an expectation of an update of Windows 8 in the upcoming months of 2014 which might be Windows 8.1 update 2 or Windows 8.2.

Glo Subscribers Can Now Top Up Airtime Directly for Data and International Calls

Top Nigeria telecom company, Globacom Nigeria, has unveiled a unique 3-in-1 Recharge Option to make the process of loading regular airtime credit, international calling packs and glo data bundles more convenient for subscribers.

Unable to format a SD Card or a PenDrive or any thing. Then use this simple steps and you can format and open your memory card, pendrive and every thing.



1st Method:
1. Go to desktop and right click on My computer.
2. Select Manage from the menu.
3. Then goto disk management from the options.
4. After that select the flash drive from the clicked window.
5. And then format your flash drive with the option you got from there.



2nd Method:
1. Login as an administrator powered user and go to "Command prompt".
2. Now type - format g: /q /fs:fat32 - and press Enter.
If Your Flash Drive Letter G:, then Just Change g: From There With Your Flash Drive Letter.
3. If you want to format your pendrive then just replace fat32 with ntfs.

Example : format g: /q /fs:ntfs
If Your Flash Drive is Letter G:. If not Then Just Change g: From There With Your Flash Drive Letter.



3rd Method:
If Still It Didn't Format Then Use Some Format Software .......
1. SD Formatter - DOWNLOAD
2. Any Drive Formatter - DOWNLOAD
