MTN iPulse is back again - 11k/sec, 2naira/sms

MTN fosters stronger connectivity with Students by making connectivity on iPulse more affordable. Call at 11k/sec to all networks, SMS @ NGN2, 90% discount on your favourite callertunez and Free goodybag social bundle & 10mb on N100 recharge.

MTN iPulse introduced only 3 years ago had soared a new youth-friendly dimension.

“MTN has now made it easier for students across Nigerian campuses to access data and call services at the most affordable price ever on any network in the country”, said the Chief Marketing Officer of the ICT and telecommunications company, Bayo Adekanmbi while speaking about the iPulse offering that was launched.

In tertiary institutions, the need for both internet accessibility and comfortable communication has been underfed for a while now. In bid to attend to this lingering need, MTN has announced the new offers for students registered under the iPulse tariff.

The Chief Marketing Officer mentioned precisely that students in tertiary institutions in all regions can now make calls and surf the internet on their mobile phones at student-friendly rates with little weight lost off their pockets.

The call rates within an iPulse zone is as low as 11 kobo per second after the first minute! So, by implication, MTN has ‘put more words in the mouth of the dumb’. Also, the cost of sending SMS was flattened, 2 naira per SMS. These are wonderful offers not to mention the free Megabytes on each 100 naira airtime recharge.

The offers also stretches to free social networking platforms which gets as far as free Facebook. This would really help students establish groups and communicate easily on social networks.

Students and generally youths have been subscribing in millions through their smartphones and browsing devices. Actually, as said by the marketing officer, all these were possible because MTN has adopted campuses as iPulse zones for the benefits of students.
